Gestures Through Time

Digital, handrawn animation. Participation in this exhibition required artists to respond to a collection of Magic Lantern Slides documented in The book, Magic Visions: Portraying and Inventing South Africa with Lantern Slides, (University of Amsterdam). The exhibition was published first online to coincide with the launch of the book publication in Amsterdam and then physically in the Jack Heath Art Gallery (South Africa), (2022).
